Messaria village in Santorini is a small village situated 4 km southeast of Fira, around a vast area of vineyards, at the center of the island. Most inhabitants are engaged in winemaking and a local winery allows guests to see and taste a wide range of wines.
Among them lie numerous restaurants and lovely hotels. You can visit Argyros mansion, one of the finest examples of neoclassical architecture in Santorini, built in 1888. You can also sit at the main square for a dense-flavored Greek coffee under the shade of the trees.
