Monolithos Beach in Santorini is close to the beach of Kamari and the airport of Santorini. It is quite popular among the locals and especially families. It comprises a long beach with black sand and shallow waters, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas in some parts. However, some trees also lie at the back of the beach for shade seekers. The beach emits a pleasant ambiance, which is why it is often crowded. There is a volleyball field along with a nice playground for children.
