Vlychada beach in Santorini is a lovely beach in the southern part of the island. It is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas. It also boasts a small port where fishing boats and yachts moor in summer.
The area is characterized by two large chimneys. One lies directly behind the beach, and the other is just nearby. The chimneys belong to a factory that does not function anymore. The brick structures are actually quite pleasant to the visitors' eyes
Vlychada itself is rather long and covered with dark grey sand. It is worth gazing at the rock formations behind the beach, which are quite interesting.
The area also hosts some restaurants where you can enjoy local dishes.
