Santorini is an unforgettable holiday destination with so much to offer, but if you are arranging your trip independently it can be a bit of a headache to work out the best ways to get there! Luckily for you, in this article we have brought together our top tips for reaching the island and transferring to your accommodation. Ensure you have a stress-free and straightforward start to your holiday with our advice below.
Airport parking
Planning to fly to Santorini? Make sure you plan your trip to the airport in advance. Most of us forget this step, especially if we plan to drive and park at the airport. Airport parking is expensive, particularly when you book on the day!
Thankfully there is an easy way around this unnecessary expense on your trip to Santorini. Simply book in advance using a comparison website dedicated to airport parking. Parkhero is a great option if you are travelling from the UK. For example, if you are looking for Gatwick Airport parking, you just need to select Gatwick Airport from the drop-down menu in the comparison tool, enter your travel dates and hit ‘Search’. In seconds you will get a page showing all the parking services available for your trip. These are ranked from the cheapest to the most expensive options to make it easy for you to make a choice. You can filter further by p
arking type, distance to the airport and other facilities you need for your vehicle. Make the booking in less than 5 minutes and sit back and relax in the knowledge that a parking space will be ready and waiting for you when you arrive at the airport! To find similar websites for your country, enter ‘compare parking at…airport’ into a search engine.
